Welcome to our first post!  Let’s get the introductions out of the way so we can get on to the good stuff.  My name is Sandi Baete.  My husband, Joe and I own Party Central in Clarksville, Indiana. Joe’s grandpa started the business about 60 years ago, selling mops and brooms from a truck.  We are the third generation and things have changed a bit! Now we rent tents, tables, chairs, linens and all kinds of fun stuff you need for weddings, parties, and corporate events.  We also sell all the paper supplies (plates, napkins, cups, etc.), as well as personalized inviations and tuxedo rental- among other things.  This blog however, is not about selling you on our business.  It is about helping you. 

So, here is a sampling of what you can expect from us.  We will be posting lots of event hints, tips, and ideas.  We have been in the business for over 20 years so there is a lot of information we can pass on to you- unique ideas, ways to save money, how-to’s, etc.  In addition, we know how hard life in general can be.  From time to time we will toss in quotes that we have found particularly meaningful that we hope will encourage you.  Finally, we plan to pass on practical ideas that you can use for a wide variety of areas in your life- such as saving money, organizing, and raising children, to name a few.  So, while the main focus of this blog will be on special events (weddings in particular), we hope you will find many items of use for the rest of your life as well.
